I remember playing this very PAL version; it was an amazing game, but I beat it in black and white since my PS1 was NTSC.

The first time I played this game was on Saturn. 15 year old me couldn't figure out what to do with the lighthouse and was stuck in Stoneship forever. The first time I managed to finish Myst was with the janky DS version. Anyone who has plated that one knows that finishing it is an accomplishment in itself.

Myst was the first (and only) real game both my parents played, we had it on our computer and until the day they died they would remark about “Myst” and how beautiful it was. I finally beat it on my macbook a couple years ago, remember that minecart part? yeeesh i played that part waiting in the ER lol.

As a kid I got the books they released based on it too. It’s an interesting concept for sure. I really liked their earlier game Cosmic Osmo a lot too.
