So not a gaming machine, per se, but I do a lot of work on old computers in my spare time. I just finished getting this Sun Ultra 2 up and running and wanted to share.

Its got 2gb of ram, 2 300Mhz Ultrasparc II CPUs and the afforementioned Creator3D graphics card. Its a pretty sweet machine. Can't wait to show it off at the upcoming Interim Computing Festival here in Seattle this month.

Follow up. It put up a fight but I got XMMS running on it. Was listening to soma.fm on it yesterday evening. Kinda crazy because I know, in 1997 when this thing was built, my PC could _not_ play MP3s. This thing was a beast. Also, got Apple's own Mac emulator running and was playing Heroes of Might and Magic 2. xmms.jpghmm2.jpg
