Allright so honestly i've watched so many japanese romance drama such as Forget me not but recently i watched the remakes of Taiyou No Uta or Midnight Sun (for the international title) the only reason i watch the original japanese version because it was played by yui. So basically after watching the korean remakes i once again remembered HOW MUCH I hated and also loved this kind of stories.

In one hand it's a very emotional movies and i will always cry at the end of the movies (yeah i'm a grown man and i cried but hey men can cry too yk just like devil may cry). BUT in the other hand they always ended up creating a sad ending so basically there's no happy ending in this kind of movie. Like what the hell is those writer experienced for them to break my little heart.

Many Japanese writers have written a compelling, realistic romance that blossoms between two characters and then we get an ending that is either ambigous or a big sad.

They also tend to write happy endings were two people that are meant for each other get married and it's not unusual at all to get married, only marry for love people, never for any other reason.

I will put my hands up though and say that Japanese romance writers are a masterclass at what do they on average compared to romance writers in other cultures.

The only jdrama I watched that stuck to me aside G.T.O, Gokusen, Hana-Kimi and Hanayori was 1 Litre of Tears cuz' of the touching story and I'll admit Sawajiri Erika was pretty cute on that show. Oh, and I loved the song by K there too. ::sailor-embarrassed
