Indie My Indie game idea

So recently I had this idea to make a game like One Shot with Undertale bosses called Ideallyment (random a— name I know it’s just a WIP), the story will revolve you escaping your abusive adopted parents at their home diner as a skunk obsessed mint lover with your best friend (who comes from a rich family) as you look for the person who has been mysteriously texting you to “come find him”, you don’t know what he is, what he wants, or who he is but you’ll need to fight many bosses like a Big Bad Wolf CEO of a house protection service (where he secretly makes his clients homes unsafe), a Rabbit vocaloid star, a mouse waitress girl, and more. There are many smaller details I have in mind like collecting mint tins and a mother load of random dialogue and secrets (the game will also have a lot of dialogue so you’ll need to pay attention to that too).

To me it sounds a bit creepy, but for people who like this genre it might sound cool!! There are a lot of indie games that I've skipped because of dark themes but they are famous.

I'm not sure if you're just "having ideas" or you are a person who can really create a videogame: if you don't have the skills to develop a game, you could maybe try and write a novel out of your ideas, otherwise I wish you all the best in creating this game!!

I like the idea of scary undertale like games.those one boss fight games were absolutely something for me like killer sans.

And the final bosses are your parents and whole game is about a teen's journey to grow up lol. Well you may use Pixelorama for pixel graphics and GameMaker to develop the game itself in most easy way possible. For musics you may use random AI music generators like https://aisonggenerator.io/. And you may directly steal SFX from many old games lol. It would take a month or two if you dedicate yourself.

This remind me someone made dinasour game on c++ with pixel art.well he draw it and give the colors manually.
Most important things about pixel art is readability and details.

You really got some great concepts here. Why not try adding a beautiful pirate captain and a mono eyed robot as an NPC ……just kidding! Seriously I’m getting kinda hyped with these ideas of yours and you should incorporate your character arts as a main base design of your game.

what make undertale diffrent from others is music,story and of course it design.
I wonder if I gonna try work with that game engine on phone I find or I should install goto 4 in my phone still not sure.

Now Imma develop a video game about a guy killing mosquitoes before he runs out of blood while Doom Troopers soundtrack kicks in the whole game just for lolz lol.

Just think about it!mosquitoes mannage to suck blood in a dark room whcih eyes could see nothing but they can't leave the open windows qhen you want they leave!

One of my faverite soundtrack is megalodon from sans fight.
If you want to remix and change old soundtrack a good free software is cool edit pro 2!it supoort 120 audio sample!

Good idea. The game doesn't even need graphics, you may just play it by the sound of the damn mosquito it makes. Even blind people can play it!!! lol

Blind people remind me those people play bosses qith out looking at monitor!
One of my old idea was about a blind girl who encounter with a dangerous nightmare.because she can't seen it she dont fear him and even befriend with him.
A lot of times of play would be a black screen because she is blind.
