I choose to begin this thread angry.

SPOILERS EVERYWHERE, move along peace!!
okay thst the best i got to tag spoilers.

am i gonna vent with how rushed and butchered the dark deku vigilante saga was and how it ruined the way i saw the series all the way to its conclusion? yes just did.

that frustration aside, after some time has passed from reading the manga, legit really liked the series overall, the ending theme where it was trying to go felt obvious and by the numbers when it came out but its a nice message that i wish was shared more.

that and man reading the manga weekly when all for one vs one for all happend, my god every chapter ending at even more highs, what an event to see go down that just wouldnt be replicated in any other format of seeing it.

I just want to leave the fact that the mangaka of My Hero Academia became one thanks to the character Crystal Snail from Mega Man X2.
Now i will retreat.

I watched it as it was releasing, pretty much from day one.

By the time season 2 came about, we had a +50 pages-long thread discussing it ad nauseam on some long-deleted forum... It was the best thing since toast.

But then, I noticed something quite interesting: the series wasn't "wowing" me anymore — I still liked it, but I took longer to watch newer episodes (when I used to drop everything to experience them the second they dropped). And - perhaps worse of all - I also noticed that the sheer volume of epic, replay-worthy moments had gone off a cliff.

Season 1 had packed one every episode, but by the time the "Shoot Style" scene came about, it registered as a shock for me because I had already forgotten what a great moment felt like in this series.

Now, to be fair, they did redeem themselves a lot through the "Deku vs Class A" battle, the Joint Training Exercise with Class B, and the battle against Lady Nagant, but... Too little, too late?

I have yet to watch S7.

Watched the first few seasons a few years ago it was fine to have on I the background when I was cooking or whatever.

I watched this anime for a while but somehow I lost sight of it. It's not bad, but probably a matter of taste.
