Kingdoms of Amalur was pretty fun & so is Natsu-Mon. I've only played the main Natsu-Mon game and not it's DLC yet. If you do like Natsu-Mon, the Boku no Natsuyasumi games are also made by the same developers. I know of the two Shin-chan games but I haven't played them.Kingdoms of amalur and i recently just started getting into natsumon and the whole translated series also shin chan seems like it follows the same formula it seems so definitely gonna check it out
i already played dead rising and all the GTA games and bully lol but the other ones look very interesting, thanks!Haha if thatās the case then I can leave general recommendations with more text detail/explanations.
- GTA: Iāve loved all gta games Iāve played. Thatās kinda it.
- dead rising: itās a fantastic survival horror series.
- max Payne trilogy: just great from beginning to end.
- shining force: not many JRPGs with a great D&D vibe. This one is it. Itās cool when you find the once in a century non-anime JRPG, not that thatās a bad thing!
- bully: you bully people
- momodora: my favorite indie
- Kirby 64: best Kirby
- shadow of destiny/memories: Konamiās absolute peak. Nothing ever like it that Iāve ever played.
Oooh so many hours spent playing LAN diablo 2 with my highschool friends world of Warcraft when it first came out was fire and love the old buzz game, itās one of those games i played when i was sick and it felt like a fever dream but itās on ps5 now playable! I gotta revisit ithere's mine too View attachment 2463

Oooh parasite eve 2 love that game, basically RPG resident evilThis my favorite games
I adore your picks! Nice seeing smt and dq3 there. Totally deserved! It's hard picking my top games, but I have them in a 3x3 format, with the stipulation that I had to pick only one game per series. View attachment 2497
I love Symphony of the Night, played it tons of times, and I'd play Bloodborne several more times if my PS4 didn't become a paper weight. Overall seems like a neat list of games! Been curious about Perfect Dark, I should give it a play.View attachment 2458

Thank you! I didn't grow up with DQ3 (although DQ1 was one of my first games ever) but DQ3 blew me away the first time I played it and now I try to do at least one playthrough a year. I played through the new HD release right as it came out and loved it almost as much as the SFC, in some ways even more.I adore your picks! Nice seeing smt and dq3 there. Totally deserved!
Love New Vegas! It's hard to pick whether I like it or FO1 more, they're both so good. I noticed you have Banjo-Tooie there and not Kazooie. Makes me wanna give Tooie another try! I probably burnt myself out playing it right after Kazooie but I'd no doubt enjoy it more now if I went back to it.
I see some pretty good stuff here. Call of Pripyat reminds me that I need to finish SoC. I'm curious since you've listed Persona 2:IS, Which version do you prefer, PS1 or PSP? Despite playing tons of mainline SMT I've never dipped my toes into Persona before. What do you like about Baldur's Gate III too? I ask since I've only ever played through Baldur's Gate 1 which I enjoyed, but I know they're different additions of D&D and III is turn-based.here's mine too View attachment 2463
Ayyy, I just finished the first Tornerko game on Super Famicom and loved it. Excited to start up the PS1 game, but I think I was going to do the first Shiren game beforehand. Rare to see Zelda II in people's favorites, but I can see why it'd be a favorite. I really like it too. This is probably going to change a million times in the next ten minutes, but here goes:

This is roughly in order, left-to-right and top-to-bottom. These are the games that represent what I like most about the medium, and should give you a general idea of my tastes. ALSO: I limited myself to one game from each series for variety's sake, but if a franchise is listed here, I typically love it all.
here's mine in no particular order :

fond memories playing all these years ago (besides liquid kids and magical pop'n, which I first played /completed in 2023) from arcade to console ports/exclusives, to this day they remain some favorites.

You know what's funny? Deus Ex took me a few tries to get into. Something about Liberty Isle as a starting level wasn't jelling with me. But then one day, it just clicked and instantly became one of my all time favorites. Probably one of the only games I started a new game up on the moment the credits finished. I should give some more Blood level packs a play, Death Wish was great.Duuuuuuuude deus ex blew my mind first time i played it and blood with system shock
Oooo always a fan of lengthy replies! Yea dq3 is even more amazing if youāre already acquainted with DQ1, which I was, and it blew me away!I love Symphony of the Night, played it tons of times, and I'd play Bloodborne several more times if my PS4 didn't become a paper weight. Another set of great games! Funny, I just started Ratchet and Clank up a few nights ago and I've definitely been missing out all these years. Shining Force is a series I've had my eye on too, really should give it a play. I noticed you had SMTV:V on yours, and I gotta say it's probably my favorite Press-Turn SMT. Absolute joy to play.

SMT1 was one of those games I knew nothing about going into it other than "you summon demons with a computer as your party members" and got way more than that. Instantly hooked me on the series.

I love KOF2002UM. I'm not great at it, but it and KOFXV are probably my favorite fighting games. Seeing Virtual-On makes me nostalgic for the arcade in an old theater that closed down around here. It was always a favorite of mine to play every time I went. Played through Silhouette Mirage several months ago and enjoyed it a bunch!
Seriously yeah, seeing how DQ3 panned out after 1 and 2 was...it's hard to describe. I just remember feeling so excited the rest of the day, haha. I did pick up VV, but only went through CoC in it so far to see what got changed or added with the original story. Game runs like a total dream now, was super worth that playthrough, and I have CoV content waiting for me when I get back to it which is pretty exciting.Oooo always a fan of lengthy replies! Iām happy you like SMT! Finished SMT V just last week and it was a jam!
Yeah I hope you enjoy VV and Shining Force once you get to them!
Early Shining games have this specific unique charm of being JRPGs with a more western style setting with everything looked straight out of lord of the rings or D&D. Heck, even your initial party in SF1 has this extremely reminiscent feeling of a Fellowship of the Ring which instantly won my heart <3
Yeah i can see it being a tough to get into at first, but dude in regards to old FPSs have you tried a game called tekwar by william shattner ? Iāll link a video below.. it blew my mind back in the day being kinda open world and just the idea that you could take the subway and go to a different ālevelā or zone felt mindblowingYou know what's funny? I haven't played Tekwar yet but it's one of those games that I've always been a little curious about. This has a source port I'm sure, so I'll give it a try sometime! I'm always looking to try out older games that are particularly ambitious for their time, as I find they usually to some degree succeed in what they're trying to do.Yeah i can see it being a tough to get into at first, but dude in regards to old FPSs have you tried a game called tekwar by william shattner ?
