Only learned two songs for now, Twinkle Twinkle Little Star and Gerudo Valley from Zelda OOT.

Any suggestions of game music (or any music for that matter) that isn't too hard to play would be greatly appreciated!::chocobo-dance

ballsy to start with a keytar instead of a normal keyboard. personally i just play things that sound good and in key.

sorry im not much help :')

I guess there is no reason not to be extra ballsy if you don't even have the slightest idea of what you're getting into lol. Might as well jump in head first! ::eggmanlaugh::eggmanlaugh::eggmanlaugh

REAL AND TRUE!!!!!!!!!!!

Try fiddling around on the white keys for now and coming up with random melodies. U can't go wrong with the C Major scale. Also chords are made up by pressing typically 3 or more keys at the same time together. Keep in mind the distance between the keys. If they're too close together when u hit them at the same time, they'll sound a bit sour. Try to space things out

umm, i guess Earthbound/Mother 2 songs but just the main melodies part like Fourside, Eight melodies or Twoson for example
Tetris theme "A"!
...and Crazy frog would be fun and no too hard?

i think that's all the easy melodies suggestions i can think for the moment. ::thinking
This is an amazing idea, although I'm on guitar but this is gonna be great for getting used to the strings

On the guitar smoke on the water is pretty easy
True, also a good suggestion. Learning a whole song can be daunting though, so learning quick little video game songs is a lot of fun and definitely more motivating.

Edit: To actually contribute something I can recommend the ocarina songs from OoT are really short and fun to wrap your head (and hands) around.
