Ever heard some music on a game and thought "wait a minute, this sounds a lot like x game"?
I have those moments sometimes
And I'm not talking about something done on purpose like the speed bike race theme from Chrono Trigger being a direct reference to F-Zero

I'm talking about this Castlevania track

The Ganado theme during the first village fight in Resident Evil 4 sounds like something that would fit in with Silent Hill. I've seen others said that Silent Hill might've been an inspiration for some of the tracks in RE 4. Don't know if it's true or not but they have a similar feel to them.

The entire Dungeon Siege soundtrack just... doesn't belong.

It matches none of the actions on-screen.

In Meta-Ph-List Mu X 2297, a terrible shoot 'em up with a ridiculous title on the PS1, one of the tracks - which are the only redeeming feature of this game - sounds strangely like Final Fantasy/Nobuo Uematsu.

Also in Battle Monsters, a ridiculous versus fighter on Saturn, one of the tracks in the sound test is straight out of the Japanese version of BioMetal on SNES (the American version replaces the original tracks with instrumental versions of hits by the dance group 2-Unlimited). I don’t know if the composer is the same or if it’s plagiarism, but the developers of the two games are different in any case. BioMetal is an Athena game, while Battle Monsters is a Naxat game.

every time this one pops out I think it's from a PS2 Megaten

Game: Cutesy Mario-esque platformer about a...thing looking for his underwear
The boss theme: D O Y O U L I K E H U R T I N G O T H E R P E O P L E
