Title says it all, i start:

when older than 30, most of the best nights were had, but never say never.

Well when it comes to "night vibes" I like to listen to city pop songs like this:

I have a few examples from unforgettable nights of my own.

Aoi, Koi, Daidaiiro No Hi:
I remember listening to this song the first time i got high after a major surgery and i peaked during the solo guitar parts after the first chorus. it was fucking nuts. typing this out got me feeling kinda icky though cuz drugs make me uncomfortable now

Hurry Up Tomorrow:
I went to see the early fan screening of TheWeeknd's movie, Hurry Up Tomorrow, back in May and it was amazing. I loved every second of it. I feel like I had lived that moment before, many times before. It felt like returning home.

Given Up On Me:
In a similar sort of vein to the first song listed, this one sorta tangentially ties into drugs for me. I remember having an extremely lucid dream while under the influence of percocet while recovering from another surgery. In the dream i was in a cozy little coffee shop, cafe even, with lots of warm wood and lighting, making a painfully soulful piano track on my little laptop. I remember some guy comin up behind me and sayin something like "wow that's really good, mind if i sing over it?" to which i replied sure. his voice was so beautiful. i remember turning around and it was Mr. TheWeeknd himself.

This song reminds me of that song we "made together" in my dream back in 2019.

that's all for now, im sure ill remember more later

edit: i just remembered one more very important one

Famous Last Words:
this whole entire album tbh (The Black Parade). the other week i was listening to this whole album using hifi audio files for the first time and it blew my freaking mind. my synesthesia had NEVER been so powerful before, at least not like that in such a long time. what a beautiful album.

i felt myself transcending during this song in particular. what an amazing climactic ending.
