Somewhere only God knows.
I have always been a person who appreciates the small details of life, be it going on a forest run and stopping just to see the beautiful view of the lake or the dappled sunlight on trees or even maybe for calmer times, for when I am walking to school and noticing my walking; each step I take quaking my understanding of the surroundings and making me halt as the morning commute's endless distant talks from people, merchants, and buyers leave me all the more...distant, out of place in this serene atmospheric realm and floating about, being just another person among the throngs of life.

From this appreciation, I have always put music as a sort of catalyst for this emotional thinking, and from it, starting the engine to deep thought. But here is my question to you, the reader: What scenario do you find yourself in, and what music makes you feel that bit elevated, that bit of reaching a higher realm, that bit...detached from this common world and into a world of pure, endless dreams?

i always listen to this when im feeling nostalgic or down. this whole album or Modal Soul by Nujabes hold a very special place near and dear to my heart. I used to listen to them a lot when i was sad. id sulk in Idyllshire in Final Fantasy XIV and listen to them all the way through. magical times tbh. i miss them.
((once again, sneakily putting the nier gestalt and replicant piano collections album into the subconcious of everyone's mind on these forums heheheh))

Yeah, I was introduced to Nujabes from watching Samurai Champloo, amazing stuff the guy made, really groundbreaking even now, I would say. It has a soul to it, very hard to describe, but it feels like you are floating above the clouds.

i just listen to relaxing minecradt os vids on youtube or play chrono trigger music whenever i feel like it

I listen to stomach acid noises when I'm driving so relaxing.

when i feel exhausted i listen to Mai Yamane and Eikichi Yazawa stuff.
these songs make my soul calm and happy.

I blame video games (and listening to VG music on my phone while out and about) for this phenomenon in me, but yes.

For whatever reason, I associate this cover with springtime.

When I'm feeling really down due to mental health reasons, this comes to mind.

When it's dark in my bedroom and I'm chilling out at night, this is an experience to listen to. Either version really, whether the 8-bit chiptune or the DS soundfont one.

And this is fun to listen to when walking down urban streets!
