hi, i want to play FF7 with bizhawk emulator since i already have it downloaded but i was wondering how carrying over progress between discs would work with it. is there something i have to do to make that happen or would i need to get a different emulator or something

edit: nvm i found out how to bundle the discs together lol

I would think you could make a save, and then load that save on the new disc....

Otherwise telling the emulator to switch the disc without resetting it, then hitting start...

But this is just my brain remembering it from 1998.

If the emulator won't let you switch discs, will it see the saves?

I think you have to use the Tools>Multi-disk Bundler to create an xml playlist.
But I agree with @DunkeyKong and strongly recommend Duckstation.

For anyone reading the thread and wondering about the multi-disc thingy
Swanstation core on RetroArch can actually read those that end up being converted into pbp files so there isn't really a need to make a playlist
