Hi y’all! I’ve been expanding my libraries for 4 specific consoles at the moment: the PS1, PS2, Saturn, and Dreamcast. I’ve organized my libraries as of now into lists, which are linked in this post. I’m interested in any gems I may have missed! Feel free to sound off with whatever comes to mind, and if there’s something I’ve already got that you’d especially recommend, feel free to say why! Some of my favourite genres are Survival Horror, Dungeon Crawlers, Rhythm, Simulations, Experimental/Narrative type things, and Shooters. Priority for me right now are Saturn and Dreamcast as my libraries are way smaller for them, but anything is good!

Dreamcast List

PS2 - Growlanser 2, Growlanser 3, Namco X Capcom, Ratchet Deadlocked, Timesplitters, Timesplitters Future Perfect, Jak X, Samurai Warriors, Samurai Warriors 2, Nightmare Before Christmas: Oogie's Revenge, Ghost Rider, I-Ninja

SAT - Shining Wisdom, Ghen War, Krazy Ivan (also on PS1)
DC - Super Magnetic Neo, Industrial Spy: Operation Espionage, Evolution, 2

For the PS1 may I suggest Tiny Tank, a game where you play as a little, yellow, canTANKerous tank who has to save the human race from an army of robots who have taken over the Earth.

As for the PS2, Okami. That game needs no introduction or explanation.

For Dreamcast, I recommend Zombie Revenge! It’s an arcade beat ‘em up where you beat up Zonbie. Is fun :3
Also it has a neat little VMU mechanic where you take care of the characters in the game like digital pets. You see my name. You know I’m all about that.

For Saturn, Astal. It’s one of the prettiest platformers on the console, is mad underrated by any community that isn’t the hardcore Saturn faithful, and is a game I would describe as “The Sega Saturn equivalent to Ristar and Klonoa: Door to Phantomile”. Just be wary about your health and lives! The game has a punishing lives system that I think hampers what is otherwise the gemmiest of hidden gems.

thanks a bunch for all the recommendations so far! went thru and added a ton of them

Just adding the box arts so you can get a good idea of what the games look like! Kinda! Zombie Revenge is much more fun/arcadey than the box makes it out to be.

Also, I chose the JP box for Astal because it’s more accurate to the art style of the game. I have the U.S: box, and it’s okay, but has a clashing art style.

For the Saturn
Frankenstein and Lunacy
