Most pleasant (or unpleasant) conversations you’ve had concerning gaming?

I had a pleasant talk about dragon quest with a customer at work today. We talked about the recent remakes and our favorites (his was 2 NES, mine was 4 DS). It reminded me of less pleasant interactions I’ve had with customers, where it’s less a conversation, and more I’m being spoken at about why the new pokemon games are disappointing (I agree but is it selfish to wanna give my two cents?!)

eh whatever, people have opinions. I personally love the old games and the old anime myself but i won't turn it into a thing if that's not the popular opinion.

Most pleasant: When people talk about how a new game of their favourite series should be.

Most unpleasant: When people talk about which game in the series is the best.

I was a moderator of a gaming forum for a long time. We had "no politics" rules next to "no which Final Fantasy is the best Final Fantasy conversation" and whatnot rules lol. However my society makes such rules necessary because people usually meet in real life to have a fight and the winner of the fight "wins the argument" lolol.

I basically helped sell a ps4 without even working at the gamestop to a mom looking for a birthday gift for her son. I was just there browsing the 3ds section.

An unpleasant one iirc was when I said on another forum that animal crossing is boring, then someone said "New Leaf was great" then I replied to that specific post saying "I never played it" and then they said that I shouldnt complain about animal crossing if I never played a single game.
Like, dude, if you mention a specific installment and I inmediately say "I never played it" ofc im gonna refer to the installment you mentioned
