I should try giving Paper Mario Thousand Year Door another chance. But those linear looking maps in a non-interconnected world really disappointed me
Yes, you shouldI should try giving Paper Mario Thousand Year Door another chance.
i dont knock you for your Shadow oppinions. the recent fan remake vastly improves on it but the original version just plays like Sonic Heroes but with awkward gunplay forced into it. also not too keen on the whole having to play the game 11 times at minimum to get the "true" ending. and the levels can also go on for a bit sometimes. the music is good though i gotta say. my personal favorite All Hail Shadow version is from that game so at least theres thatWind Waker. Twilight Princess is leagues better than it.
Animal Crossing is boring in my opinion.
Mario Golf TT is an ok game, not amazing in my books. I personally do not like golf. I find it boring and frustrating.
Sonic Heroes is frustrating and not fun. (I know it’s multiplat, but im counting it) Just try getting all the emeralds and all A ranks, you’ll see what I mean.
You’re gonna get mad at me for this one, but….
Shadow the Hedgehog is not a good game. It’s very repetitious and boring. The story also makes me cringe.
blame Kojima for some stupid decisions like forcing SIlicon Knights to put over-top cutscenes like in MGS2, models being based on the PS1 models instead of the artwork(the Twin Snakes models were made by Kojima's team not Silicon Knights) or not giving enough time to Silicon Knights(that's why VR Missions is absent in Twin Snakes or why MGS2 mechanics breaks the game)Twin Snakes.
Even when it was first released, I tried it at a friend's house and immediately just wanted to play the original MGS, instead. For all the attention given to the updated presentation and controls, I just didn't think it made for a better game. At all.
Conversely, I adore the Resident Evil remake! But I also really like the original, too. I thought the remake did do enough to make it stand out and feel fresh, and the environmental sounds and atmosphere were off the charts.
I still play both versions of RE1 regularly. But for MGS, it's the PS1 or nothing![]()
I have sent the "Punished Link" to you:Windwaker
I fully agree with this but I'd add Super Mario Sunshine. I genuinely think that game is mid which is a shame because I really love using FLUD and I love the tropical theme. But for most of the game you don't use its different nozzles and there are too many red coin challenges. Especially when compared to Mario 64 which did have its fair share of repeating challenges, I think Sunshine made it more noticeable. Then there's the 240 blue coins which make up a noticeable portion of the shine sprites. I wish the game was delayed a bit to fix a lot of its problems, or get a sequel that expanded the game.Wind Waker. Twilight Princess is leagues better than it.

Yeah. I have no idea why people turned the thread into "video games you hate". Probably because of a conditional logical that 1st condition "mention overrated GameCube games replaced with 2nd condition "Lets continue the hate" lol.Do people even know what the word overrated means? Why do people keep mentioning stuff like Luigis Mansion and Sunshine? These games have never been very popular oO Also, since when would anyone defend Shadow the Hedgehog? Is this a new meme im not aware of? A guy (Bloodletter) posted the game a few minutes ago in place 5 of his top 50 fav games of all time and Frickinfrik thinks people would get mad about somebody calling it bad? What is happening???
I thought it was PS2 players that made fun of Nintendo for being "childish".SEGA fanbois used it to make fun of Nintendo and Zelda fans lol.
Wait, wasn't Adventure 2 the latest release back when Wind Waker was out? I don't remember them saying they ruined the series (yet). At the time SEGA was also ruining Sonic games so people thought "is this the end of Japanese video gaming?" lol.
I think that there's fundamentally no "bad" Zelda games in the mainline/Nintendo made series.I do like Wind Waker by accepting it's not even one of the good games in the series.
It's mostly about the context that people claims Smash should be competitive when it was always meant to be more or less a party game.Melee is pretty far down on my list of favorite smash games. Not a terrible game but I'm very over how it's sometimes treated as THE smash bros game
TBH it started with the NES itself. People were like "you gotta be a little kid to play that" lol. It worked wonders for SEGA because their company goal was offering games "that's not for kids" lol. While greatest violence in Nintendo games were "people just disappear" in SEGA games you could see blood flying everywhere and whatnot lol.I thought it was PS2 players that made fun of Nintendo for being "childish".
Until Sonic the Hedgehog 3 (1994) )everything was satisfying for customers. Sonic series greatly improved in Sonic the Hedgehog 3 because of lots of new features like Super Saiyan Sonic lol, a companion who can help you out, elemental super powers (example pick up fire stuff and get fire-made protective shield that also make you attack by launching yourself onto enemy. Water-stuff that's also a protective shield that help you jump higher by bouncing on the ground). After Sonic the Hedgehog 3, SEGA thought people would want an isometric Sonic game and 3D Sonic game -- we didn't. So, Since Sonic & Knuckles (1994) the series is ruined for many fans. So by the time Wind Waker released (2002), SEGA ruined Sonic series further and further in 1998 and 2001. SEGA's future was bleak. Fans very angry, so angry they started to roll in the floor like Sonic crying lolol. Then Nintendo dropped the atomic bomb of Wind Waker in 2002. Japanese video game console industry was bleak. People were ashamed. Fans started to commit seppuku lolol. But then Sony distracted the whole country with PlayStation 2 since 2000 so damage was reduced. Japan was protected. Deities were satisfied. Honestly PlayStation 2 really made tons of people forget about Nintendo and SEGA so hard we didn't "notice" SEGA stopped releasing video game consoles and Nintendo was sinking so hard to float they were spamming handheld video game consoles lol. Things rather happened so hard lol.Wait, wasn't Adventure 2 the latest release back when Wind Waker was out? I don't remember them saying they ruined the series (yet).
Yeah but Japan is different. For example Americans are politically fanatic, British people fanatic of football clubs, Italians fanatic of their foods, French people fanatic of their language and culture, but then Japanese people fanatic of their race, history and religion. When you combine these, no wonder Zelda fans are rather divided. There are fans who either fanatic for Twilight Princess, or Ocarina of Time or Majora's Mask. Relatively less people (not that they are minority) likes Zelda series itself without picking any game and way less people who like the series also only pick one of these 3 games and they dislike the other game. Things are weird because they are beyond a fan, they comprehend video games as part of their "race, history and religion" lol.I think that there's fundamentally no "bad" Zelda games in the mainline/Nintendo made series.
O rlyWhile greatest violence in Nintendo games were "people just disappear" in SEGA games you could see blood flying everywhere and whatnot lol.
Later Nintendo became "SEGA wannabe" so no wonder lol.
I remember seeing this when I was 6.Later Nintendo became "SEGA wannabe" so no wonder lol.
