Eh, the 3DS version can look about as good with upscale and texture packs. I'd rather not risk a cursed table.
Good luck and have funWii U looks better than the 3ds version, Id just give it a shot and see how it is
If anyone's still a relative noob under HR 10 hmu!studying in japan sounds so cool!! What was it like back in the early days of MH?I used to play MH on my PSP a whole lot back in college on the train (when you had to do "the claw" to perform basic ass functions in battle lol) when I was trying to be cool studying in Japan, but when I got back to the States it just didn't have the same magic. Maybe because no one was online lol.
Now Wilds has drawn me back in for the first time since then. The QOL additions are very much appreciated at this point in my life and I'm having a blast with charge sword. Something about the world is just a little more endearing this time around, too. Or maybe MH is just what I needed right now and Wilds happened to come along....
Would love to play with other people, but everyone seems to be HR99 alreadyIf anyone's still a relative noob under HR 10 hmu!
I'll drop you a line sometime. I've just started, and unlike most, I don't like rushing.I used to play MH on my PSP a whole lot back in college on the train (when you had to do "the claw" to perform basic ass functions in battle lol) when I was trying to be cool studying in Japan, but when I got back to the States it just didn't have the same magic. Of course there are!theres so many people here lol
i feel dizzy every time i play with 3DSTry the RNG patch if you are playing on 3DS.
This has to be one of the best explanations ive seen.Monster Hunter is a is an Action RPG wherein you play as one of the titular Monster Hunters in its world.
Hunters get to choose from up to 14 Classes of Weapon all functioning quite differently from one another each with their own strengths and weaknesses meant to better encourage team play ranging from a bladed slab of steel meant to sever tails for more monster rewards to an Axe that can morph into a Sword that uses stored energy to deal explosive bursts of damage to select parts of the monster you're hunting.
In the older of the games your moveset is quite limited forcing you to really make the most of limited options meanwhile in the newer games you start to get full on combo strings, parries etc.
The Monsters on the other hand mechanically serve almost as bossfights with a lot of focus put into making them feel much more real within their environment, ecology and immersion play no small part in the series appeal. You'll start off fighting creatures like birds or toads with some features on them exaggerated for their environment but gradually face more and more of the fantastical.
The core gameplay loop sees you and a team of up to 3 other players Hunting these Monsters for their parts to make new equipment, typically stronger or alternative upgrade routes for weapons or for armor which provide bonuses to the player themed around the creature whose parts it's made from.
In the older games there's also no small emphasis on down time between hunts where you gather supplies from the game's many environments to brew things like potions and various gadgets to make future hunts easier, but in the newer games a lot of this aspect of the game is shortened.
The newer games in the series are the most straightforward for newer players to get into as well as easier to play Co-op with friends. If you can both run and afford it the newly released wilds is the best starting off point imo otherwise World would be my next recommendation (It's also much cheaper making it easier to rope a few other friends into).
If you want to get into New Gen MH i highly recommend world and its dlc, its quite a straight forward game and a blast with friends, its normally on sale for less than 20 bucks so grab it if you canI'm looking for a game to play with friends other than Helldivers and UFC, it seems so fun and I'm wondering what kind of game it is? (I've only seen a couple of clips on tiktok) Don't be afraid to bombard me with persuasive opinions. (PLEASE)
It's probably the 3D gimmick. You can (and should) turn it off. It does nothing good, just wastes battery.i feel dizzy every time i play with 3DS
I completely agree man![]()

Me too, bro!
Have you also tried Portable 3rd?
A classics collection would go hardCapcom needs to bring the classics to Steam. MHFU, 3U, 4U and GU preferably.
careful with the seasonsI started playing Monster Hunter 2 Dos and I got carted by a Bulldrome.
This is going to be rough.
Yeah, I do know some stuff gets locked out in seasons. Skipping seasons is possible if necessary too.careful with the seasons
Dos has very poor general balance. Makes MHFU seem polished by comparison.I started playing Monster Hunter 2 Dos and I got carted by a Bulldrome.

if you must know, the more clunkier and unbalanced the better monster hunter is.Dos has very poor general balance. Makes MHFU seem polished by comparison.
Haha, true to a point, but P3rd is as far back I'm willing to go. Gens 1 and 2 are too rough. 4U and GU are just right. My two cents anyway.if you must know, the more clunkier and unbalanced the better monster hunter is.
