Minecraft bedrock sucks and is a broken mess

I have Minecraft Bedrock Ps4 edition and the game is laggy and broken as fuck it keeps Crashing on me like hell yesterday it crashed 11 times today it crashed 2 times and I did not even play long today it even deleted my birch wood stach becaause it crashed during a forced auto save. Is Mojang ever going to fix this cheap port of a Mobile version also called Bedrock ever because its borderline unplayable for me that way and it gets on my nerves. And no as a console player I can't switch to Java if we want updates we are forced by Mojang to use Bedrock we had our own Minecraft version that was stable and worked fine but Mojang had to kill it off because of muh crossplay which I can't even use as it costs besides Internet and Game costs and the costs for the Console itself a Ps+ subscription to be able to play online with others to which is a scummy especially as the Ps3 version was not forced to have a Ps+ subscription.
They should either fix this shitty version or bring back the old once and update them and bring back 4J Studios they did a much better Job than Mojang.
So what is your Opinion on Bedrock.

In all seriousness though, you're right. Literally scrap Bedrock edition, unify all versions of the game and bring all the good shit from bedrock (the tougher enemies) over to the base game. Mojang are an incompetent company

The Original Ps4 version or also called Console or Legacy Edition is divine its stable and functions well it was mainly done by 4J Studios and not Mojang sadly this version was killed off by Mojang. And now we come to the Bedrock Version on Ps4 and yes its terrible it either crashes often or it lags or both which can lead to you dying.Bedrock is very badly optimized and splitscreen sucks on Bedrock the Ps4 Edition did handle it far better and was more enjoyable.
So it depends if you don't need all the updates go for the Original Legacy Edition on the Ps4 and not the bedrock on if you still can get it otherwise I would advice getting a good PC and running Bedrock if you want bedrock over this and not over the Ps4.

The only thing we can debate how much Microsoft is at fault here and how much Mojang screwed up.
Sadly Mojang is dead set on adding new features before fixing the damn game especially features they add who are not that good like the sniffer.

Like I said if you don't care for Updates anymore you could get the Og Ps4 Version the Splitscreen there was good just don't get the bedrock one if you can for me luckily as I owned the Original Ps4 Edition I can still switch between the versions.

A Le sigh it does sounds neat to play it on my Mobilfunktelefon I meant Mobile ;) but man this game is demanding much more than you would expect from a Pixel game that is that old.

Well I can't really speak for Terraria as I don't play it but Minecraft is still a good game when it works properly.

And isn't Sony always bitching about not turning off your games during auto-save? If the game does it, then that's a risk for your hardware. It's a really bad sign.

The Ps4 has no mod support but we can use the Add ons from the Marketplace after we purchase them of course and it does make things a bit better not more stable but they add great stuff to the Game the Greatest Add ons are Realismcraft and Actions & Stuff

The Switch version is still a unoptimized pile of trash, everything, even all menus take ages to load, besides that the entire thing is bloated with things that no one cares about or can't even be used (there's many options and things that would only work on a powerful PC and yet they can't be bothered to remove these from this useless version.


The day I get java I'll finally bother to play the game properly.

I do have the Physical version of Minecraft so I am not entirely aware on how difficult it is to get the Original Minecraft not the Obsidian one for Ps4.
Also I am not sure if when you buy the Physical version and upgrade if it it would even become the Obsidian version or stay the Legacy one.
I think it would just update to the latest Legacy version and not the bedrock on via the Physical disc for me I only got the Bedrock version for free because I owned the Physical version and played it the required amount of time before the switch to bedrock on the Consoles.

this turned into a major pain
so digital wise i'm screwed for PS4 and PS5
and on PC it's only on MS store, i literally removed all traces of MS store on my windows 10.
i had way too many PC troubles thanks to MS store so i avoid it like a plague.
so nevermind for me, guess i just won't play it lol.
