It's based on the Master System specs and is getting a version of it too. So in a way, Cuphead is coming to the Master System in 2026.

I'm hoping this does fulfill the promise of being more of an actual platformer than the first game. Those run and gun levels were my favorite part of Cuphead and I would love to just have a full game of those. Fingers crossed!

Looks nice. I'll reserve judgement until I have a better idea what kind of game it is. The original had a few run & gun stages, too, but was mostly just boss stages. I'd rather play a platformer than a boss rush.
