I might be coming from this super biased but Midnight Club whoops ass back than and even today compared to the NFS games even the ones that are highly praised i would take Midnight club 2 and 3 over the underground games carbon and most wanted. Just from Customization, How well the cars control, To even just the atmosphere they put you in. MCLA a game from 2009 still feels better than modern day racing games in general. But let me know how you guys feel about this take if you agree with me or not i would love to start a dialogue

Honestly, i prefer Most Wanted. I've already played MC3, and i liked the fact that there's Nine Inch Nails and Marilyn Manson in it. But i just still prefer Most Wanted.

I feel like its truly up to personal preference but like the speeed and the difficulty that MC3 gives me compared to nfs is just unmatched

i didn't know midnight club was a washing machine! haaaaaah!?

Jokes aside, i can see what you mean, tho i personally prefer nfs underground 2. The handling was so good with the OG Logitech driving force

I've only ever played "Midnight Club: LA". My family is a bunch of normies and I'm pretty sure my father only got it because of the souped up cars on the cover.

To this day, I'm not super well versed in the franchise (Mostly because it didn't catch my interests to such a high degree). However, that isn't to say that the game was bad—Quite the contrary! Races were fun as hell, police chases had you on the edge of your seat, unlocking different vehicles was satisfying, and you could even "Pump Your Ride". However, I don't share quite a similar sentiment towards the "Midnight Club" series like I do with "Mario Kart."

I've never played a single "Need for Speed" game.

Honestly I won't compare different IPs with each other because they are their own thing. Midnight Club is about chaotic street racing while Need for Speed's certain games are about relatively more realistic street racing. Otherwise it would seem like comparing Bioshock with Call of Duty lol. If I didn't think so I would just say "best street racing game is Racing Lagoon".

That being said what makes sense to me is comparing games within the context of the series they belong to. Then I would say the best MC game is 3rd. However not many people would like such chaotic unrealistic gameplay that cars have superpowers and all lol so they would prefer Need for Speed.

While MC3 has great car customization, NFS Carbon has its own thing in "more detailed customisation". In the end I like the games in their own context without even comparing them to other games in the series. Every NFS game has its own thing that I like separately, so does the Midnight Club series.

I think of Mario Kart in a different way mostly because I play it like a party game but even Mario Kart I played Comp playing in tournaments 150cc or 200cc just duking it out online or with friends. But between Midnight Club and NFS which try to be a little bit more realistic I always end up picking back up Midnight Club just because of how it makes me feel and how it feels

I think they are fair to compare in my opinion I mean they were in competition back in the day but in terms of Quality i believe Midnight Club takes that cake plus cars in the old school nfs had slow down power effects to control speed just like midnight club they both did it only real difference i would say is powers like Agro and Roar. I can Agree with your last statement like i can enjoy them both but in this scenario where i wanna compare them MC wins in my eyes indefinably even with the flaws

I don't understand why EA continues making a bunch of bad-mediocre NFS games when Burnout Paradise was a success. What's the last good NFS? Hot Pursuit in 2010?

In My opinion the last good NFS was Heat in 2019 that game was fire no pun intended
