Does this fix the original game's weird thing, where doors you should be able to open are covered in unbreakable metal until Adam decides you're allowed to open them, whereupon the covering vanishes to reveal it's like just a regular door? Because I despised that. Either make it a door requiring a special item or don't, but the arbitrary "nah ah ah" locking of doors was rage inducing. Just as bad as how that Metroid game on Wii had Adam unlocking suit upgrades. The designers who came up with crap can just **** off.

EDIT:
Checked the readme. It seems it does! Thank you so much! =D

Fusion was specially designed at every turn, to thwart any effort at sequence breaking. The game even has an easter egg that hammers home the developers were in on the joke.

Whether a good or bad idea on Nintendo's part, it's a hallmark of Fusion's identity as a game to not be able to do much of anything you're not supposed to.
I believe it was designed this way to be an entry level Metroid for new players. Not that it is a good design philosophy when a franchise has deep roots already established.

I'm sorry, if your game is designed with sequence breaking in mind but it still leads to unwinnable situations, that's just bad game design

It's been good so far. The only hiccup I found is that sometimes the death sequence softlocks into a black screen if you are in morph ball mode. I don't know if it's an emulation problem, the side effect of the game being edited or what.

I don’t recommend this hack yet. It’s super buggy and you can get softlocked in places.
Thanks for this. I read the readme file at the main metroidconstruction site; they mentioned the same problem. I'm currently playing the metroid fusion: special edition hack first. Hopefully the bug fixes on the RE: fusion one will be made once i'm done
