Heyo. I picked up a second hand copy of MGS1 over here in the UK, which turned out to have the discs for the Spanish dub in there, instead of the English dub.
Since i've played the game a bazillion times I pretty much know what the script is. The Spanish dub is pretty good, was it even a selectable audio option in the recent remastered version?

Anyway I want to pair the discs with a correct cover. I can either locate a second hand spare (impossible) or print out a scan. Sadly all scans are around 300 dpi online (I only found two, and there are slight differences in them too). A reproduction cover company requires at least 600dpi scans to work with.

Anyone here willing to upload some high quality inlay scans of SLES-01734 at the required dpi?

Do you think these would be okay?

(Anyway, as you said, the SLES-01734 is the spanish version)

Those were the one's I submitted to the print company, they said it was not enough (dpi). There is also one more scan floating on the internet (which has the age rating on the back this time) that is also unusable.
Gonna need a fresh scan on this one.

Isn't there a software/app that can increase dpi while maintaining quality/resolution? I find it hard to believe there wouldn't be. Sorry for not being any help though

Those scans seem to have good resolution.
I'm not versed on printing or dpi, but I don't understand how those wouldn't serve the purpose.
Perhaps you could find another place or do it yourself or some acquaintance?

@Blamhammer - Well, the ones I posted already are at a quite high resolution (which I increased with my graphics software from those I had)
The point is that 600 DPI are a resolution of 4960 x 7016, so I think the images would be too big (in Megabytes) to be posted here 🫤
Anyway, let me see if I can do something...

Me too! I asked the print company (who does game box and inlay replacements) if those existing scans could work and they told me it wouldn't look good.

As for where to upload the scans, would a Mega download link work, or even uploading it to the Internet Archive for others to use?

@Blamhammer - The point is that, for printing purposes, 300 DPI are more than enough (even used in photo editing). So, I don't know why they say it isn't good... 🫤
With my software, I could increase them up even to 1000 DPI, but - as I said above - images would be too big.
ANYWAY, there's a simple solution! You can try some online services like "Workintool" - "Clideo" - or "AVAide Image Upscaler" (this one even uses AI to process and upscale images) - or others.
They're very simple to use: just upload the image, choose the DPI (or the upscaling size), wait for the process to be done and download your new image...
Give it a try :->
