Well, I hope Konami gets back on its feet. With the Metal Gear Solid games things could get a bit problematic without Hideo Kojima. I hope for the best.

they already tried to make a metal gear game without him. it was lame beyond all standards. not just regular lameness; advanced lameness. i remember hearing that they scrubbed the game off the face of the earth after it bombed.

Well, after having to wait so long for it and the game has changed very little except for a few small things, it is an embarrassment. Shame on you Konami.

I'll be totally honest I've loved the original title since it came out,
I loved the whole vibe and the limited play I had actually experienced.
the problem is: I suck at EVERY Metal Gear Game. So now being older,
much older and hearing about the remake I purchased the game and had no
problem at all setting that slider on easy so I can actually enjoy the story.
So the in the old MGS game I lasted like 15 minutes, Delta I'm maybe 5 hours in
and I have to ask how much was added? I know they wanted
it to be like a movie but was the original like this. I know there was a lot added
by Konami and I know Kojima's style can be "long-winded"
but of that 5 hours I played I think 4 hours were movie, including what looked like boss
fights as movies. I paid a lot of scratch to actually buy this instead of
getting it, well you know... so I just really just want to play, what gives??

I keep thinking about getting delta. From what I know its 1 to 1. How is fox hunt mode?

Delta is... All right, I guess. Prefer it over The Twin Snakes on GameCube. Doesn't have any reason to exist though, other than to gauge interest and see if anyone will still buy a Metal Gear game.
If you plan on getting it "just because", then get it on Steam and grab some mods.
I'd rather Konami either remaster or port MGS4, Peace Walker, and MGSV Ground Zeroes and The Phantom Pain, as well as throwing Ghost Babel, Portable Ops, the Ac!d duology, and Metal Gear Rising in there for good measure.

Haven't tried Fox Hunt, though.
