I should die, I should die, I should die, I should die, I should die, I should die, I should die, I should die, I should die, I should die, I should die, I should die,
Please don't say that! You must live! Don't say those horrible things. ::heart

You really should see a psychiatrist and a psychologist, it's for your own good.
I dont think you should tell people irl about your issues, it's better to tell them online and/or keep them to yourself

I just wanted to help you. I'm sorry if you suffer from psychiatric trauma, but what you're saying right now is just wrong!

If you keep ignoring them and keeping them to yourself, you'll be miserable and depressed for the rest of your life! Please don't do this to yourself, I'm worried about you. ::sadkirby

I still dont want people irl to know about my issues, and besides, i'm fairly good at hiding them aside from my aspergers

Minor Update:
Had an ECG done today. It was very quick and no hassle at all. The doctor I chatted with beforehand said that if the ECG looks good I'm able to receive another medicine (beta blockers I think it was) that's supposed to help with the heart rate, and I'll gladly take it if it means I can continue with the initial medication since it's working so well. I'm a bit annoyed that I didn't get results immediately though, because I thought I was supposed to. I just want this little episode to be done so that I can carry on with adjusting to a life without constant stomach pain. ::terriermon-happy

Turned 40 last wednesday still finding caring for my dad tough some days but i know im doing the right thing. a friend came to me this week and gave me a big hug and brought me a £20 PS store card. I don't get up to much in summer due to hay fever season find myself sitting up at night more as darkness is quiet and happy time for me. Im getting stuck into lots of SHMUP games never had as much fun so thats making up for the times i cant go outside due to the heat.

You rule dude and your friend sounds like a safe guy too. What Shmup have you been playing? I've been practicing my rootin' tootin' cowboy shootin' on Red Dead 2.

Minor rant:
I'm getting really fucking annoyed with my tinnitus right now. I'm still going thru the process I wrote about earlier, but the added tension, and probably the heart rate too is affecting my tinnitus in a new way so I have to listen to it and since it's not a sound I'm accustomed too it's insanely intrusive.
Out of curiosity if you don't mind, but what kind's your tinnitus?

The way I see it (hear it?) there's only one kind, the terrible kind. I struggle with it too, it was either learn to ignore it or go insane.

is it rude to inquire the source of the cause of your cases of tinnitus? i do not have it personally but know so many people who do

As somebody who's spent a good amount of time taking care of their parent and recently losing them, I just wanted to say you're absolutely doing the right thing, even if it gets incredibly difficult at times. People will probably tell you things like, "I don't know how you do it" or "I sure couldn't do what you're doing" but that's just an indicator of your good character, imo. It's cliche to say, but just take it one day at a time, and try and find bright spots along the way.

Patient confidentiality is a thing. If you showed someone your patterns of posts in this thread, they'd likely ask why you didn't come sooner. It isn't bad to need help along the way. It's bad to need it and not seek it out, so you can purposely suffer and reinforce the loop you're in, because it isn't helping you or anyone who could help you. And if everyone gives you grief about it, that's their problem. Right now you need to look out for you first.

A low, metallic hum. More of an ”ooooooo” than an ”eeeeeee” if that makes sense.
But is it provoked by sound exposure (as is my case) or other medical reasons? Also yes, I get what you're describing, seems to be a bit lower pitched

I have no idea, honestly. It’s constantly there (gets worse when I’m laying down) but my ears are fine according to the specialists who’ve seen me. I’ve had it for many years without any ”real” problems. I personally think it’s a combination of stress and pressure/tension.
Also it’s more in one ear (left) than the other.

Pressure and tension can surely make it worse, but well, as long as you're healthy it's a matter of getting used to it, some people with very bad tinnitus use white noise machines to help them sleep.

I use really long let’s plays on super low volume personally, I’ve found that talking helps more than noise for me, though brown noise also works alright.

You know how bad guys in fiction torture others to get info out of them? Well, i'm thinking about torturing myself so that I can tell people irl about my issues
