The best thing about memory cards is that you can very easily transfer your save files to another console.
So you mentioned battery in the context of memory cards, I remembered how I lost my GBA game saves because it turned out these games need a battery to keep the save file "alive". I wish I had knew it sooner. My poor save files lol. Then I threw GBA and its games out of my window and gone full emulation lol. What an useless bloody Nintendon't rubbish!!1 lol. It was the first Nintendo console I bought and never ever bought a Nintendo console ever again. I now have NDS, 3DS and Wii U just because I somehow got them for free.Pardon the old PSX memory card. It has yellowed over the years. All of these work.
I do need to replace the DC battery again. My Xbox and 360 memory cards are in storage, and I am not digging them out.
Like with the PSP/Vita duo sticks, you know what they look like

Well the DC VMU card hasn't been powered on in years, so the battery is fully dead.So you mentioned battery in the context of memory cards, I remembered how I lost my GBA game saves because it turned out these games need a battery to keep the save file "alive". I think even in SNES-era losing game's save file was an huge issue or something because I remember people cursing at SNES games because of it lol. I never had real hardware SNES experience and really didn't play much of its games so I wouldn't know. You gotta be extra genius to make it work with battery lol. They were so lazy and stingy, as they still are. Imagine they released even Switch 2 that barely better than previous generations consoles lol. I wish Nintendo had stopped releasing video game consoles instead of Sega.
Yep. Especially if Sega America and Sega Japan didn't rebel against each other and could cooperate things wouldn't be a mess.SEGA leaving the console business was actually a good move on their part, as sales loss would have fully sank the company. They are still around, so at least we still have SEGA IP games to play.
been saying it for decades now. I still want Dreamcast 2 and now is the perfect time to make it!Yep. Especially if Sega America and Sega Japan didn't rebel against each other and could cooperate things wouldn't be a mess.
In the end as a console wars veteran I'm glad what ended Sega wasn't Nintendon't but Sega itself. It was literally fall of Roman Empire moment here in weirdly coincidence way lol.
However Sega is wiser, and they know I would buy their console, only if it can compete against new generation consoles. Better than buying P-Box ("P" stands for "paper" lol), $onny and Nintendon't consoles lol.
Nintedo already nothing but still make profit thanks to their cult. Xbox is American thing, and then only those who think they are "rich" buy a Sony console. Other than these they cannot compete against PC Master Race™ but Sega can by releasing PC-console hybrid device. Then moneys starts raining' lol.
Then what's different about Sega? At least they still develop a decent game by improving. They don't trash and kill their own franchises like Sony does and unlike Nintendo they are not stuck in ancient ways. Relatively Xbox would be better if they didn't care to scam you in any way and if they could give up with generic action games. So at least even Sega still try to impove video game industry, so if they had released a video game console we always needed then goodbye Xbox, Sony and Nintendo. Sega should use the popular hate among current video game consoles companies right now to make a move: Then it wouldn't be a war, it would be genocide and Sega wins and gets the throne of the video game industry!! lol
