Iris is a weird character.

Objectively speaking, she's a weak-willed person who moans about all the violence around her but does nothing about it and, in the end, accomplishes absolutely nothing except dying. And yet everyone still talks about her like she's some kind of saint, too pure and good for this sinful earth.

When you keep in mind how Iris and Colonel where meant to be a "super reploid" but got divided in two with no other upgrade to fill the void.... both of them come with very critical problems that ended up sealing their fates

Colonel took all the fighting power, but lacks Iris open mind. This means that once the guy set on one thing, no one can tell him to back off (this results in a blind pride that ended with the battle vs Zero even if there was other ways to solve everything)

Iris on the other hand is the "heart" and takes everything for the best possible outcome, but lacks any sense of a fighter reploid. This means Iris is not able to understand the meaning behind Colonel and Zero fight and took this as Zero betrayal for killing her brother (and even in the end, she just decided to go for it until her death)

The only reason both are popular is that Colonel looks cool, Iris.... because she is Zero ship for the fans to meme

If said super reploid actually worked, then Sigma most likely needed to work harder to make the repliforce go Maverick instead of the joke of a reason that both pull in the end

But then again, we are talking about the same writers that added Iris as Zero assist when the repliforce was called Mavericks..... even if Iris IS a repliforce member and should be out of the hunters way

Agreed, it’s also kinda ironic how the supposed pacifist has one of the more challenging endgame bosses.

But that goes for almost all bosses in the game with Zero. Only the stupid Sigma lower head that needs to be careful with contact damage due to Zero range

Even if you dont spam Zero dash cancel the bosses are easy if you decide to play aggressive

I made two runs way back then playing like ass and still managed to beat it. Something that in other games you cant do as easier

Apparently he drinks it like if it was a drink can in most media but in Super Adventure Rockman he put it in his Mega Buster.

I like the fact that Iris and Colonel are well adapted in the battle network series idk about team protoman tho since i only beat team colonel and the dual operation? (You know the NDS one)

Iris.exe only shows up in the final game and acts more like the ghost for Lan to be friends with.

She still falls in love with someone on that timeline too and end up just as bad (but the end credits gives the hope that Wily managed to save them instead of recreate them after they used explosion on the box art legendar- wait, i think i got the wrong game....

Since I've got done playing MegaMan X and X2 recently I've decided to rank each X game I was interested in

Side Note: The European Box art of X7 is just funny, other regions featured Axl as a new character while in Europe, Capcom of Europe didn't bother with even having Axl shown on the box art or even on the disc.
