Mega Man X Corrupted is the perfect example of why feature creep is a bad thing.

Adding more features to a fan game isn't a problem but I prefer those to be added post-release or via modding.

Oh man the final boss of MMBN3 was hard, I die many times but finally I could beat it
But putting that aside, I must say it's a very good Mega Man Battle Network game. It features a significant improvement to Style Change, making it easier to get the style you want and level it up or change it, which greatly varies your playstyle and doesn't limit you to just one. It also adds some great new styles. Some of the new chips are just okay, while others have very fun gimmicks like the damage-reduction one. The way to get Bugfrags has been simplified to an easier method: killing an enemy with a counterattack. Finally, Mega Man's customization has improved considerably. You no longer have to get Power-Up Programs, but rather Custom Programs, which are like pieces you can arrange to increase Mega Man's stats or give him new attributes. Of course, there are rules, but it's very well done

I've been wondering but isn't zero practically the protoman of Megaman X timeline

Like you know Proto were indeed represent something of an early stage and zero also the first number to be found which made me think the original zero was protoman right? which made MMBN weird since in one hand you have protoman as a net navi and also we have Zero.EXE in Transmission.

Well that's my headcanon but yeah i think they're the same character but from different universe/timeline
