I just find it obnoxious when a non-autistic person jumps into the thread "defending" us.
We do not need you to defend us. I did not take offense at all.
That user were not equating Autistic with Stupid, they were clarifying.
Stupid people do not have what it takes for a precise game of esoteric minute detail and reflexes.
Autistic people are known to even be SAVANTS, we dominate esoteric subjects with incredible detail and obsession, we become specialized to absurd levels of detail, by means of "estereotipias" (stimming?), and repetitive cycles that no normal human would consider near fun, because we find satisfaction in that level of control, and do not process linearity the same.
It was not offensive, being an Autistic person has many qualities.
The only ableist person was the one who assumed being Autistic means being incapable or disabled.
Most of the best hackers, and scientists, and artists ARE AUTISTIC...

I have autistic powers for text processing, analysis, and other written forms, and cannot enjoy Mega Man, but the only friend I have who could play it an pass it, and excel in it, was one of my most cultured and SOCIALLY INEPT, Savant Autistic Friends I ever had.
(Don't ban me, I am also socially inept, but he was something else.. a thing of legends, lol)
