Anybody here playing it? Who do you play or who do you want to see join the game?

I'm a Sue Storm main, but I admit I need a new healer I can really sink my teeth into because Sue's pretty much the only one I really enjoy so far.

My best friend's been trying to get me into it, but I haven't really had time for online gaming lately. I hear good things, but I'm not sure if I wanna spend time with another Hero shooter.

I really like venom, moon knight and rocket. Still learning other characters so my mains might change over time.

If I'm healing, it's usually Invisible Woman, and maybe Rocket.
If I'm tanking, it's gotta be Thor.
If I'm DPSing, it's Iron Man, Storm, or Magik.

I should branch out a bit.

I will stan Jeff until the day I die
As long as you're not trolling throws like... a surprisingly high number of Jeffs do... that's always appreciated.

I'm one of a few people I know who actually enjoys and mains support classes across multiple games, so I'm not in the habit of trolling my teammates. Trolling long-time friends? Absolutely.

I use Iron Man or Punisher because I am lazy.

Well that's expected. I try to enjoy support in games, but some games feel like they go out of their way to make it miserable... or at least some game communities do.

As someone who healed for years in WoW...yeah, people suck and will try to make your life miserable. Comes with the territory. The silver lining is that I've developed thicker skin. As long as I know I did a good job, the negs can suck eggs.

Problem is... sometimes they have me second guessing if I DID do a good job, because I tend to be overly critical of myself. Even when I get MVP in Rivals with like 15k+ healing I often feel like I could have done better, I could have helped more, "Shit, that dumbass who kept running off on his own died one time where I might have been able to reach him in time.", etc. So it can ruin the experience.

With Rivals in particular, though... I sadly only really enjoy Sue Storm at this point, and I'm getting sick of her because I often get 'left' with healer. I want to get better as Loki and Mantis but I just cannot land Mantis' headshots consistently and Loki forces you to keep track of so much stuff I get overwhelmed. @_@

Separating what you can reasonably do from what is going beyond because someone else is lacking is a hard skill to learn. Don't feel bad about being in that spot; I was there, too. Having the awareness to be introspective about your abilities already puts you in a much better position than the tons of players who just show up to press buttons. You just need to be kinder to yourself.

Has the support training area helped at all?

I'll admit I've heavily neglected it. I don't usually learn much from those sorts of things, though.
If you're having trouble landing headshots, it would be a much better place to practice than a live match. Less stressful, too.

I'm absolutely loving it. I think my mains have largely settled on Hulk, Mr. Fantastic, and Loki, though Thing is looking like he might be a strong contender for my Vanguard main. That said, I enjoy playing most of the characters in the game, especially the tanks (as is my usual.)

I still think you're a terrible Mr. Fantastic. You NEVER heal anyone. -_-
