Tell your traumatizing Mario Party stories if you have any. I know it says “N64” but this applies to literally any Mario Party game.

I have my own, but I should say that I’ve made the mistake of playing this game with my wife before.

I'm not much of a Mario Party player, so I don't have any stories to share other than me renting the first three Nintendo 64 games and trying them out myself since I hadn't played any video games like that before.

I remember once I was playing Mario Party 2 with my cousin and some friends. He was leading but I was a very close second. Last turns I maneged to steal one star from him, bought another star and we were even. Second to last turn I somehow landed on a hidden block and got another star edging out a victory. They didn't talk to me for the rest of the day.

Its a very fun game but I can be a bit random at times

I usually play Mario Party alone. But I know two other franchises that kill friendships: Mario Kart and Smash Bros. I’ve made enemies after beating them in both of those games.

I remember a game where I was third place and too far behind in star count to eke out a win. With a lucky combination of hidden blocks and friendly spaces, I ended up stealing stars from the first place player three times in a row and won the game. Dude was livid.

Even worse, the CPU players in Dokapon are the smartest motherfuckers ever. They make Peach from Mario Party 1,2 and 3 and the CPUs in Crash Bash look like a fucking joke.

Even worse, the CPU players in Dokapon are the smartest motherfuckers ever. They make Peach from Mario Party 1,2 and 3 and the CPUs in Crash Bash look like a fucking joke.

They cheat to high heaven, more like. Always the right rolls, always the right combat outcomes; that's not to mention Darkling mode.
