Mario & Luigi on 3ds: Superstar Saga OR Dream Team

My only Mario's games over these years have been: "New Super Mario Bros" and "Peach" on ds, "Paper Mario" on 3ds, and I liked them all.

Now, after "Kirby Robobot", I would like to play one of the Mario's rpgs available on 3ds and I've narrowed my choice between "Superstar Saga" and "Dream Team".

I've beaten Superstar Saga but not Dream Team. The 3DS port of Superstar has new content, and I really enjoyed the original so I say go for that one first (it's also the first in the series)

Go for the GBA games and work up from there. MnL on the GBA is really fun

Dream Team is my personal favorite. The whole experience is like a more polished M&L Bowser's Inside Story in ideas and execution, and it's also the game that uses every function of the 3DS at it's best.

But I'd say it's much better to play Superstar Saga first for the neat continuity (Mario games with actual continuity is crazy to see) and understand the battle mechanics better because it's the simplest game of the franchise. (No major gimmicks of 4 characters in battle, bowser battles, dream world battles, paper mario, just a quality RPG)

Not for nothing this is my favorite Mario sub-franchise by far.

Neither, that's from M&L Partners in time with the 2 Bros and baby Mario and baby Luigi. (That game is very difficult for this reason mind that)

I have just a few gba in my backlog (in the specific, "Sword of Mana" and maybe "FF5" that I've never beaten), but if there are remakes like in this case I would like to play the 3ds version and not the gba one - so if I choose superstar I'll go with 3ds title.

I've decided to go with "Supersaga" but on 3ds, one of the reason of my choice is also I found out is shorter and right now it's better for me.
I hope in the future I can play the others too, because I'm already having fun!
