I don't know if "Major League" is my all-time favorite movie, but it's definitely up there.

The wonderful thing about it is that it has made such a dent in pop culture that you have probably come across many references to it (and caught them) even if you haven't watched it yourself — it really is the "Rocky" of the baseball world.

I could write a whole book about it, but what's the fun in that? I'll just let it advocate for itself and you'll be the judge:

Enjoy!

I used to watch it whenever it would be on TV when I was a kid. I enjoyed Major League 2 as well, but not as much as the first one.

How's it that you have a new idea for a thread at absolutely any moment of the day?? lmao

I actually like the second one a little bit more, but newcomers should start with the first one.

The third one, however... *Shudders*.

It's called "talent", kid ;)

... Ok, I have consumed a lot of media and I get to think about it tons while being on my feet a lot — the pre-smartphone era would have driven me to frustration-induced suicide.

My mom LOVES this film to death.

I've never seen Major League btw

My older brother had it on tape and I loved that movie as a kid, major league baseball and Hot Shots part Deux were awesome movies from around that time.::hellmo

I did not like the first hot shots, too similar to top gun and I honestly can't remember major league even having sequels, this is one of the few times I have to say that I was too young to remember ::sailor-embarrassed
