Lowered message count for seemingly no reason

Not a lot of options, there are "modern" types like Discourse and Flarum but they are nothing like this.
Then there are the "free" forums, PHPBB, MyBB and SMF but they don't have as many features as this.
And then there's the paid ones: Xenforo, Invision, vBulletin.
vBulletin is dead i believe and Invision wants $100 a month for the basic plan (yikes).
Xenforo you buy the license once and it's yours.

I do miss vBulletin, but it was painfully behind the times by 2010... and, really, the biggest thing it brought to the table was the divise thing itself: the reputation system.

Huh, my overall forum messaged went up from 1,210, as I do log in and out of the Repo throughout the day so I can see how many forum messages I had, as there's been about 3-4 times on here where my forum message count dropped at random, but now for the first time it went up a lot.

I and many other users have noticed that our message count has suddenly dropped. Is this some kind of technical problem?
