The Super Mario IV hack of Armadillo was very popular in my region back in the day, I still own the cartridge.
Around 2020 a full reskin of the game was released,
Super Mario Bros 4 Remastered
but I can't find the IPS patch or ROM anywhere anymore, the link to the patch under the video has long been dead
Yeah this isn't the same one as in the video but it is going to help a lot for the few seconds of footage I need for my upcoming video for sure! Also the controls seem a lot better in this one than in the old Mario IV and Armadillo, that or I've gotten used to it by now :)
Still we need to track down the final version because it looks great

this is amazing. In fact in the pic I posted in the first post, the multi-cart with Mario world, next to Super Bros 8 don doko don 2, that's from him.
He makes seriously high-end high quality bootlegs and his own flash cart too but I didn't get around to buying it, he is awesome.
His site seems down now tho, he is from Poland.
I was going to buy his flashcart and some other stuff next, but Macedonian customs is hell now, holding packages for ages so I didn't want to trouble him. I should email him and see if he still sells them.
That's definitely not the ROM hack from the video, but it was a wholesome thing to see regardless :)
