I'm looking for good game music. Write down some of your favorites or what you like the most. It doesn't matter if they are new or old songs !!!
My taste is not important, I want to be inspired by what you all hear.

Literally anything by Technosoft! I would defo recommend Herzog Zwei on the MegaDrive/Genesis.

Moving away from Technosoft - Yuzo Koshiro produces some fine music. I particularly like Actraiser on the SNES and Streets of Rage 2 on the MegaDrive/Genesis.

Oh and the Ys games have great music - Y Book I + II on the PC-Engine/TurboGrafx 16 CD is amazing.

On the PS I love the Bust a Move games (US versions called Bust a Groove), Final Fantasy Tactics and so many more.

Speaking of PC-Engine CD music - Gate of Thunder also rocks, as does Cotton and Castle Vania Rondo of Blood, Dungeon Explorer II...

Battle Garegga on the Sega Saturn is Amazing, Along with Hyper Duel amongst many others.

On the NES I really like Lagrange Point - that FM sound chip in the cart is just so good!

For the SMS Quartet and Phantasy Star a amazing. Love what Compile did with Golvellius (especially the PSG music) and Aleste.

Man I could go on...

If you want me to make some more recommendations - ask away.

Can I interest you in just about anything from any of the Ridge Racer soundtracks? Orbital Rock from 7 is a personal favourite.

Then I won't talk about the licensed musics that wasn't produced for a game. Well my favorites are from entire Sega Genesis video game library and I'm serious. Other than these Persona 2-4-5 has great soundtrack. And then I like God Hand's, Deus Ex 1's, River City Girls 1's, 2064: Read Only Memories', The Urbz: Sims in the City's (non-PS2 versions), VVVVVV and S.L.A.I. Steel Lancer Arena International's soundtracks.

These days I keep listening to these a lot:

Well other than these of course some games here and there has enjoyable music but IDK this is as far as ı remember among my favourites. But especially this is my honorable mention:

When it comes to video game music, I always go back to my favorite composer, Hitoshi Sakimoto, along with two others: Miki Higashino and Nobuo Uematsu.
I love the OST of Radiant Silvergun (Sega Saturn), but also the game itself.

Put any falcom OST in front of you, close your eyes, pick randomly = banger.

Something similar could be say about Gust.
I'll add pretty much all the hymmnos of Ar Tonelico 1. These are my most favorites of them.
