Greetings.
I am currently looking for a game that's recommended when someone's getting into sickness, whether it's as simple as flu or something worse.
I got catching cold and turned it into fever recently, and I feel incredibly bored than just lying on the bed. Unfortunately, I can't really plays most of the saved games very well escpecially in my condition like this. I can't even enjoy Sudoku at this point.
So, perhaps is there any game that you can recommend me, let me know about it.
Anything is fine, but it's got a plus point when it doesn't require much skill or heavy memorization. Note that I don't have powerful device (or even PC to begin with and my phone can't handle PS2 games onward since my OpenGL version is very outdated), I hope you understand it.
Anyway, thank you for reading and your attention, I hope you're having a great time, and stay healthy.

first, hope you get good, and be healthy again 💪

now, for simple games, i will recommend some ikemen/openbor fan games

just download them, unzip/extract them, and you good to go

One time I got sick and played old NES rpgs. The flavor of cough drops still make me think of those games. Good thing is you can put them down anytime and just listen to the music and come back when you feel a bit better. There also might be some good cellphone games too.

I hope you feel better soon

What about an idle game, that way you don't really have to pay attention to it. If you nod off, it'll keep progressing.

i got Covid 19 at 2020 and i just end Up finishing Turn based game Like Final Fantasy 1 on PPSSPP, other game i play its Cozy game Like Harvest Moon and Stardew Valey somehow got at High Level at Papas Pancakeria to go a Pancake Employee Simulator

Something low-impact, huh? Hmm, I definitely agree with the cozy games recommendation, Harvest Moon and the like.

If you're looking for something more involved though, maybe a JRPG on the easier side would do it?
Suikoden for example is pretty damn breezy and not particularly challenging, if you haven't played that yet? Or maybe a Breath of Fire game - BoF IV in particular has some good forward momentum to it without pushing the player all that hard.

Hope you get well soon!

Then gotta avoid most pre-PS1 games and limit it to action and alike games and simple post-PS1 games like the games on Gameboy and whatnot. I guess I would play Pokemon Yellow, Mega Man Battle Network games and Castlevania games on GBA, Streets of Rage series, Demolition Man, Contra Force, Top Gear 2, Need for Speed games, Tekken 3... et cetera if I where you.

But I'm not you so I would also play Ace Combat 3 (Japanese version) being busy with tons of endings, Racing Lagoon and Breath of Fire 4 on PS1. BoF 4 may be too much for people who are sick because gotta use your common sense to figure out what to do by remembering stuff + envoiremental puzzles that can be too bothersome for some people so it's rather "I'm stuck in hospital for a long time" game more than "damn I have a flu and don't even have the mentality to able to watch tv series" game. For example when I'm sick I can't handle any game that has too much cutscenes and dialogues which when I'm not sick I can already barely tolerate them lol. BoF 4 is ok for me then but the games that're better despite being RPG are Rogue Galaxy and Radiata Stories but too bad for you they are PS2 games.

I've read your comments (until I make this comment as well), I want to say, thank you for the concern, and also your recommendation as well. Even though I can't play all of your recommendation at once or replying to each of your comments, I still appreciate it, and I'll try it someday (as long as I still have enough free storage).
I hope this thread can also help the others who's not in the good shape as well, whether it's a flu, fever, or anything else in particular.
Once again, thank you for the concern and your recpmmendation, have a nice day out there, and stay healthy everyone!

GBA games looking good

Metroid Fusion,Warioware: Twisted,Mario and Luigi: Super Star Saga,Pokemon Fire Red/Leaf Green,Advance Wars,Mario Vs. Donkey Kong,Gunstar Super Heroes,Castlevania: Circle of Moon,Dr.Mario/Puzzle League,Drill Dozer,Wario Land 4,Tactics Ogre: Knight of Lodis,Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow,Metroid Zero Mission,Final Fantasy Tactics Advance,The Legend of Zelda: Minish Cap,Warioware Inc!,Fire Emblem,Astro Boy,Golden Sun 1 and 2,Mario Kart Super Circuit,Sonic Advance,Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald,Mega Man Zero,Castlevania Harmony of Dissonance

Old RPGs. They usually don't require much out of you physically. And, as a bonus, anything pre-1996 will run on a potato.

I'll get some rec's to you soon, as I suffer from chronic sickness by default (multiple sclerosis, tardive dyskinesia, dystonia, gastroparesis) n mental disorders sometimes help but also sometimes make things even worse... my comfort-zone default is fighting games, which I can play even in a lot of pain - but even them I avoid if nausea is involved in my symptoms due to disgust at my skill lvl drop lol

I'll look through n try to come up with some ideas of lowkey games to play whilst sick since too little of them spring to mind (hopefully you'll be healthy by then n not have to RGT-ers lists till the next struggle)

get weLL bruva - life's gotta get lived!

one of my most treasured gaming memories is playing kingdom hearts 2 while sick, the bizarre fever dream of a story really went well with my fever dream mindstate

Point and click games like monkey island or loom
