Live Action Legend of Zelda movie worldwide release date confirmed.

For those who have the app called Nintendo Today, Nintendo has announced the worldwide release date for the live action Legend of Zelda movie. What are your opinions on this? Should it been animated insttad? Which actor would fit for Link, Zelda and Ganon? And will it succeed or will it flop?

Nintendo should've looked at Sonic movie 4's release date and have the Zelda movie moved to a May, June or July release instead.

I think that's just the norm for franchise releases nowadays; I'd give good odds that the writer and director change at least a few times before it comes anywhere close to a theatrical release anyhow.

There's a part of me that would love to see this as a running joke. Like, everytime our silent protagonist opens his mouth to speak he gets cut off by a moblin, or some panicky villager declaring "The Hero will scale the volcano and slay the Dodongo!" and just keep beating him to the punch.

Honestly, he could probably do just fine. I think Mike Faist (Challengers and West Side Story) would be a pretty good choice, personally.

Edit: Oh, actually, Mackenyu would be pretty great!
