Hello !

i've made myself a little raspberry os based on linux ( debian i think )

i'd like to know what are your favorite " exclusives " linux games ? i heard the tux games are kinda fun.

do you have some gems you would recommend ?

( raspeberry pi 3b, so not a powerhouse !, and i'd like to keep it focused on " exclusives " as i've already other computers to run big games )

At least in my experience, I haven't come across any good games that are exclusive to Linux, most of their exclusives are dead FPS or puzzles with graphics from 30 years ago. My recommendation is to install Lutris or PlayOnLinux and download windows games, whether pirated or from Steam.

i don't know about exclusives, but there are Linux versions of a lot of computer games. Indies and fan games especially.

I don't know. You could play through the "bsdgames" collection. Lot of very influential games in there, such as Hunt the Wumpus. That game has been cited as the grandfather of survival horror, such as Silent Hill. Not really exclusive either, though.

The repository of your choice should have a good selection of games. Might be a start to just search for "game" in there.

i dont think linux (and more broadly floss) philosophy embraces "exclusivity" as a principle. therefore, while it's not impossible, it's very rare to see something made "just" for linux... floss is not about monopolies.

What I usually install natively on my Linux laptop is something along the lines of: Doom, Quake, OpenArena, Xonotic, OpenRA, Battle for Wesnoth, Frogatto, Luanti, OpenTTD, and assorted emulators, which are all cross platform nowadays.
