Level percentage and post count desync

So a while ago one of my posts got auto merged, and that got me thinking "is that only 1, or 2 posts?"

Looks like its both.
The level percentage seems to count It like Two posts
While the post count only as one.

So was level 1 and 0 at the same time

This must be a bug or synchronization issue of the Level System even if you have 25 messages to reach to the Level 1 and sometimes that can take hours or less than an hour to update the level system if you arrive with the certain amount of messages if the Notification is not enough but good.

And it is also due to a limitation that if you post 2 comments before 1 hour of being edited, it automatically joins because they are the same comment even if it is unquoted unless another user comments something and you will be able to post another comment without merging it again and that explains why you can only have 1 message per comment because if you comment another one is merged by that limitation.

Right! The system takes to do hourly "sweeps" to see who did what. That said, it's been acting up lately...

The problem seems to only on the level percentage, the report is my 25th post and It did change from new Challenger to young hero, so i Just need to wait.
But that would mean that everyones percentage is off by tiny bit, scary.

Ok, so... Posts made in "Chatter" no longer count towards people's post count/level.

That's the reason for this whole thing.

may ask why the sudden change without any telling. It feels pointless and kinda hurts long standing users that usually don't really make problems with their profile customization. I think that kinda stuff should be informed at least.

It appears that it was getting too spammy.

It also affected my progression greatly, but I can't say I'm surprised... "Chatter" boards have historically not counted towards people's post counts, and we are an old school bunch ;D

That's the reason for this whole thing.

It appears that it was getting too spammy.

It also affected my progression greatly, but I can't say I'm surprised... "Chatter" boards have historically not counted towards people's post counts, and we are an old school bunch ;D

I'm sure viewers noticed spam bots posting random ad threads as well

Hey, we are all together in this!
I have lost 1/4 of my post count too!
But that won't stop me from posting in that section!
The main purpose of that section is having fun, and that surely still stands!

I want to reward meaningful posts. It's unfair to people making an actual effort to create meaningful discussions when someone can post a picture of a blue character or type "186" and be equally rewarded.
It promotes spam.
And leveling is supposed to be hard and take time. I know it hurts but now it's actually fair again. You all got the levels you deserve.
I'm sorry for not announcing it, it was a moment of clarity after a rough time.
