Letterkenny is a fictional rural town in Ontario with a population roughly of 5,000 people and boy howdy do they got problems!

Starting off a series of shorts on youtube (affectionately called "Letterkenny Problems"), it eventually blossomed into a full fledged show. The show focuses on three groups of people, The Hicks (Wayne, Daryl, Dan, and Katy who're produce farmers who just sit around, get drunk, and philosophize), The Skids (Stewart and his friends, they distribute narcotics), and the Hockey Players (Riley, Jonesy, and sometimes Shoresy, uber macho bro-hams, enough said)

The show contains VERY fast wordplay that is honestly amazing and the show is a riot too

No, still making my way through the main series. Took a long break, but am slowly getting back into it. I'm on the episode where Gale's cousin Bradley shows up

How are ya now?

Saw these guys live years ago at the Algonquin College theater and then again at Casinorama. The Casinorama show was about 6 days before full blown COVID and the rest of their tour was cancelled.

I'm not sure if they do live shows anymore but I would highly recommend going to one. And if you are lucky enough to find one, show up early because they sell Puppers and it goes faster than you can say "Stuart!"

Hard same. Wordplay is an art that you don't see much of these days unfortunately. Abbott and Castello and Are You Being Served? we're hugely inspirational to me growing up in that regard

To me, it loses steam on season 6. But I kept watching till the end.
I use lots of the phrases at work calling unruley people we deal with "degens and skids."
I liked Shoresy more so far.

Wonder if any the characters from Letterkenny will cameo in Shoresy. It'd be funny if they had Wayne guest star one episode, and he keeps his back toward the camera.

I couldn't get into Shoresy as much. Anyone watche the animated Littlekenny? Its worth a go.
