This is the new The Mummy film which will be released this year? Holly Molly normally, many things don't scare me. But this film somehow frightened me and he's somehow totally disturbing!

I actually mentally called it from the synopsis and teaser trailer on IMDB that Natalie Grace's character would be our new Imhotep (or Imhotep stand-in in this case). Regardless, I can't wait to see this new reason as to why we must never go to Egypt come April.

EDIT: I should note that although I haven't seen the 1932 classic, I am very interested in it, and the earlier Harryhausen-inspired 1999 reimagining is a ton of fun.

He'll be back soon. Something new is planned for 2028 and all the actors from back then are supposed to be there.

I also initially thought it was a sequel. But it's a completely different film. Well, we're getting a new Mummy movie soon where he and the others are back. It will surely be funny.
