Oh well, let's give this a shot, that never ended up badly or anything. ::lol
PS1, fighting games and bad takes for days.
My reply time amounts down to much brain I use to answer. xD

What's the worst fighting game you've played? And speaking of fighting games and PS1, have you played Iron and Blood: Warriors of Ravenloft?
Lots to choose from, Street Fighter 1, that Star Wars one from the PS1 (everyone knows which one), the PS1 version of X-Men vs Street Fighter, The Master's Fighter, Toshinden 4, the list goes on, honestly.

As for Iron and Blood, no. Looks like Bushido Blade but bad. xD Might give it a try soon.

It's pretty bad, it's a Dungeons and Dragons 3D fighting game. Worth playing in my opinion, because it's also bizarrely entertaining.

What's a bad take you have that friends and/or family disagree with?

Honestly, if the subject was fighting games alone, we could stay here ALL DAY. ::lol
But at least it's a case of "It's a bad take, I know it's a bad take, and I'm not gonna try to make people agree with me".
But if I were to pick an easy one, I'd say that I NEVER managed to get into anime fighters. Granblue, Guilty Gear, you name it.
And it wasn't a lack of trying, even. I don't know if it's the gameplay, or the cel-shaded graphics that I couldn't stare at for long, it just never sat right with me.

your hypothetical lover and mom switch bodies and the only way to switch bodies is to have sex with one of them, so would you rather have sex with your lover in your moms body or your mom in your lover body?

opinions on tier based hierarchy? do you gravitate toward whats technically best or brute force a mid/ low tier you think looks interesting?
I learned to accept it over time. I'm not exactly what you'd call a pro but I tend to look at some things here and there. As for picking low/high tier characters, it really depends on the game. Sometimes I'm picking a weak character I enjoy using (like Kyo-1 in KOF2002UM for example), messing around with a broken character for laughs (like Kenshi in MK9 or Geese in SVC Chaos), or something in the middle (like Ryu/Abel in SF4). It really depends of the game in question.

That is the textbook definition of "nobody wins" ::cirnoshrug

Favorite videogame?
Also, how was your day?

If I had to pick an all time favorite, it would be Dino Crisis 1. I just have a lot of fond memories of it.

My day was alright, hopefully the terribly hot weather seems to be going away. Good riddance, too.

Preferred Fighting Game playstyle? (Rushdown, Zoner, Set-play, Grappler etc.)

What's your favorite fighting game?

Street Fighter EX2 Plus. It's the game that actively made me learn fighting games other than just pressing buttons and stuff, to a certain degree. The EX series might not be everyone's cup of tea but I have countless fond memories of this game specifically.

Hmmm. Depends of the game in question, though I lean mostly towards rushdown.
In some cases it just so happens that the character can do a bit of other things, like Abel in SF4 being rushdown but also a quasi-grappler, Freddy Krueger in MK9 who is a spectacular zoner but can also mix you up for days, just like Kenshi except his zoning is just unfair. xD I did play a bit of Johnny Cage who's also a rushdown monster in MK9 as well.

favorite starter pokemon?

I have yet to play a Pokemon game for the first time in my life.

Yes, I know.

Have you ever played Guilty Gear?

you can always look up the starters from each game. there's about 30, and they always follow the same 3 types: fire water and grass.
i'll take a look and see if i can find a site or picture of them for you to take a look at.

Have you ever played Guilty Gear?

Yes. The first one and the other was XX Accent Core Plus R or something.
Really didn't sit well with me. I'm the kind of person where first impressions matter a lot, and GG in general left me a really bad impression. It just felt so disjointed to play, I couldn't find a single character I liked, design or playstyle. I'm also not a fan of both games having a move where you automatically win the match if you land them. It felt like a worst version of Marvel vs Capcom to me.

But that's just my experience, of course.

I mean, I've seen friends play it in the past, be it randomizers or just regularly, I don't think it's really my cup of tea, considering I've quit RPGs some years back.

i found a pic. they are sorted by game generation; from the game boy to the switch.

it's slightly old, i'll find the scarlet and violet trio in a moment.
