For those unaware the xbox uses a capacitor to keep the date set instead of watch battery like other consoles. These capacitors are prone to leak all over the motherboard. Personally im considering just sniping mine out of the console have any of you done this? Is it worth replacing or would you just go without it?

I probably wouldn't bother replacing it but I am kinda lazy with these kinds of things to be honest. Is there any games that make use of the clock in some way?
