Wat is this a man cutting a napkin with a misshapen fork seems a bit strange even for the Fallout universe 🤷‍♂️ https://kotaku.com/leaked-fallout-merch-ai-art-target-hot-sauce-bethesda-2000622731

I mean how else is the poor, poor multi-billion dollar company gonna stay afloat? They couldn't possibly afford to hire and pay actual artists to make them actual art, give 'em a break!

I have never been so drunk to do something like this.
Whaaat? When you were drunk didn't you ever think eating napkin would be better because it has no fats so it cannot cause weight issues like it's best salad ever and it also clean your insides so good for health? Whatever makes you drunk does add INT 10 to your stats!!!

lolol

We are already entering a time when EVERYTHING will be at least partially done by AI. That's why we should appreciate the times and manual labor of the recent past in everything that is close to the heart of a nerd - games, music, movies, cartoons, etc.

What is more sad is that even if they skipped hiring an actual artist, they even skipped hiring an editor/proofchecker; what happens is that, braindead stuff gets released as a product

It's like they're going the chinese way of chabuduo (AKA it's passable/close enough) quality control when in fact, Murphy of Murphy's Law never ceased to exist and is just lurking...

They should go Japanese way of "kaizen" so the idiot person who used ChatGPT to produce this AI shit themself could check if it looks ok or not, so if not they could generate another... or did their free quote for the day end before it could generate a decent image? lolol

I really hope they get the word right

But looking at their behavior, they'll prolly mistake 'kaizen' for 'kaizo'... 😅

Then all hell breaks loose and SWHTF... 🤣
Yeah, they "kaizo" (restructuring) their company by firing humans and replacing them with AIs lol. From the surface it may be "kaizen" but it's actually "kaitai" (demolition) from what is good for them and thus their company will experience a "kaishi" (mysterious death) that they won't see where the business suicide came from and they just died, and will wonder where they failed. "I thought AIs producing the assets, the new American culture popularity service in our games, whatever is popular on social media that we make our games about and whatnot would be a 'bisheng' (sure win)" lolol.

Par for the course for Bethesda, really. The people who 'gave' us the horse armor DLC which set the entire industry on the path to sucking ever harder with each passing year 'bless' us with another push towards innovation in all the things wrong with gaming.

I know that there were people out there hoping Microsoft would rein them in a bit but they're just as filled to the brim with talentless hacks as Bethesda. All the good people who put those companies on the map left a long time ago and are either out of the industry entirely or they went independent.

Ah yes, the AI. Well, every game is made with AI these days. That's really nothing special anymore.

That's kinda why since like a decade video game dialogues, stories and side quest design "doesn't make sense" more than ever!!! lol

And then I suspect Japan mostly uses AI to design characters. Again since like a decade I never saw so much Japanese BS character design before, they just became "god" at it SMH.
