My problem with AI largely begins with the deceptive videos spammed onto youtube. As I've had IRL issues with family members over that trash as I had to help them avoid it or point out what they just watched/acted upon was wholly fictitious and even dangerous. People who don't regularly get on the video sharing websites have no idea how dangerous this crap is. Keep in mind some of the AI voice only videos are so convincing that when you tell somebody it's fake that they think your fucking with them, and this can cause fights/arguments.

Or Roland was trying to hype up the 303 to be a replacement bass players? Or how Drum Machines were positioned as a alternative to hiring a studio drummer. Hasn't yet killed off drummers or bass players yet.

There is no comparison between AI and Photoshop. Tracing and lens flare tripe have nothing on quadrillion deceptive robo calls/videos trying to defraud the public with photo/audio realism.

I remember people saying that art made with photoshop isn't real art because it helps you do the tougher parts like filling colors and transparency/layering effects.
