I'm experience a strange sense of wonder at playing real Megami Tensei games in random release order. The translation and access I now have I am greatful for.

The systems have different balances that I appreciate. The evolution of the series up to Strange Journey makes so much more sense. I understand the role of the "Tyrant" better after playing Kyūyaku Megami Tensei part 1.

My soul still yearns for more content in the Soul Hackers 1990s cannon. The guncomp rules.

And I do love Maijen Tensei gameplay. Maijen Tensei 2 graphics and presentation are so beautiful to me. All of these later games I better appreciate after playing Kyūyaku Megami Tensei.

I want to replay KMT1 cause I played it off on for years in high school and was severely underleveled for Lucifer and had to cheat lol. KMT2 was fun aside from how expensive everything was, I abused the hell out of the Jack Frost Jr. EXP trick and was completely maxed out by the time I faced YHVH
