Genesis Krikzz Owners, what is the best usage you've gotten out of your Everdrive?

I have the Mega Everdrive Pro coming on Friday and just got the SD Card ready for it, anyone got a usage outside the basics?

If you care about that, verify that the SMS works because it won't work correctly with some Mega Drive revisions.

In fact, on my VA6 MD, SMS games won’t work (bios, no bios, different dumps… tried all) on the Pro, but weirdly enough, they do on a Mega x5.

Ive had the Mega Pro for over a year now and I would have to say my favorite thing is that Iam able to play Sega CD games with out having to have my cd base connected and being able to play 32X games on my 32X hardware compared to playing on software emulation. But I guess the biggest thing is it never comes off my Genesis hardware unless I put on the 32X addon. So my Genesis physical collection stays in its boxes. Also own every other Everdrive made for other systems and GameDrive. ODEs for CD base consoles. its a godsend

That's the main reason I bought mine, my space doesn't support the CD add-on, I got a model 1 system

I quite enjoy it for the homebrew/patched games. Gives a new twist on games that were held back by technological issues and or poor game design choices by the developers.

Playing Game Gear and Master System games on my Genesis is cool. Aladdin Directors Cut made me realize how good the Genesis Aladdin was. It's the best Aladdin.

The GBA everdrives are very useful for me, as they were able to communicate with official carts. I could use it to play Pokémon Leafgreen, and transfer Pokémon over to my real Fire Red cart. Access to hacks is also a huge plus.

Edit: ah, sorry! Didn't notice it's a Sega thread. While not a flash cart, I did replace my Dreamcast's disc drive with a ODE, and that has been a lifesaver for that library.

I've looked around and I've only really found about 5 msu games that really worked out for me
