The iconic video game franchise started by Masahiro Sakurai back in 1992 on the original Gameboy which involves a spherical puffball that loves to eat food and his enemies (while learning to assimilate their powers since his second game).

I have an special love for Kirby 64, I played it a lot with my cousin on a messy N64 emulator (the life bar didn't show up and couldn't defeat the final boss becasue he got infinite health just because yes).
Kirby has to be one of the best designed characters of all time, everyone can recognize it and everyone loves it.

Played "Adventure", "Dream Land 2" and "Super Star" countless times.
As for my favorite character, it would probably be Waddle Dee. I love how some of them aren't even trying to be enemies—they're just minding their own business like those ones in "Dream Land 3" that paddle rafts.

I haven't played any of the modern ones (=Return to Dreamland onward, man I'm old) apart from Rainbow Curse and the demo for the latest one which I thought was kind of meh, but I LOOOOOOVE Adventure, Dreamland 3, and Nightmare in Dreamland particularly.
I also have a super soft spot for Canvas Curse/Power Paintbrush since it was my very first NDS game and I loved the gimmicky control scheme.

My favorite character is Dedede, especially in Smash 4, my favorite ability is a tossup between Jojo/Grappler/hammer, and my favorite enemy is the little snowman guy:

Candy Mountain from Superstar is my favorite song:

I think all you need to know is that I'm super into the Kirby series, my first game was Super Star Ultra, my favorite game is Planet Robobot, and my favorite character is Kirby himself followed by Meta Knight.
The first Kirby game I've played was Nightmare in Dreamland but I haven't managed to finish it for some reasons. I got Kirby Canvas Curse not long after and while I liked it I kinda finished it quickly so I kinda felt like there was barely any material to do more (although I really liked the final boss despite being a bit scared of it). I also did Superstar on the SNES emulator which I loved to do but I also remember doing Dream Land that I got in loose in a garage sale (and wondered why he couldn't get any ability at all). I remember getting Squeak Squad as a second hand game in a small retail shop that sold plenty of them for the DS. I regret missing out on Superstar Ultra because I assumed it was the same thing as Superstar that I've already played (which was stupid considering what was added in) as well as not having bought Return to Dreamland because I kinda have lost interested in the Wii around that year (I still did DKC Returns but nothing much). I recall having done Kirby's Dream Land 2 and 3 on an emulator but didn't get the true ending for those since I didn't check a guide for the remaining rainbow shard and heart pieces back then. I also did Kirby 64 on the Wii Virtual Console (without the true ending either).

Good thing that I ended up being interested in Kirby again with Triple Deluxe's release so I ended up trying to do and finish many Kirby games (with the true ending for some of them) as well as lesser games I couldn't have played. I also got to do RTDL on Dolphin since this game didn't require a strong computer and I had a linker so I could do Mass Attack while waiting for Planet Robobot's release. I missed out on Star Allies on the Switch because I didn't have one but I also was glad to have done it after the three DLC waves to get the complete experience.

Waddle Dees have so much personality. It's borderline disingenuous to call them "Kirby's Goomba".

Thanks. I was hesitant on naming it Superthread or Ultrathread then I went with both.

funny thing back in the eariler 2000' i was going name myself on the web was going be MajinKirby but i changed it to ghostfaceloser then unholyarceus then finally DJPlace

I'm almost surprised that Nintendo hasn't produced more DX versions of the games, Mario Land 1 and 2 are nice but I loved how colorful and mesmerising Dream Land looked even in B&W

Dream Land 2 was an even bigger classic GB game so, even with the pseudo colourisation of the Super Gameboy, it needed more work for a DX romhack.
It's easily 5x better than KDL1 DX.

Have you played the fangame Kirby's Dream Land Advance? It's sadly not a romhack and the gameplay is not the best because of the lag but I liked that "what if Dream Land got a remake before Adventure?" kind of deal.

I absolutely love how Adventure's very last level is a recreation of most of KDL1's levels.

I forgot to add that I've still finished Nightmare in Dreamland shortly after I was done with some of the games before and when I've learnt that it was a remake of a NES game (Kirby's Adventure) I still ended up doing it via emulation.

Perhaps I could try doing a new Kirby marathon someday if I get motivated enough (every classic, pre-RTDL games). I haven't replayed many of them in years but I also feared of getting bored by them.

I also have to do Block Ball, Pinball Land, Star Stacker, Super Star Stacker, Dream Course and even Blowout Blast. (no, Avalanche doesn't count as a proper Kirby game to me).
