Warhorse Studios, known for Kingdom Come: Deliverance, has officially confirmed the development of a new open-world role-playing game set in the Middle- earth universe. The studio is also working on a new installment in the Kingdom Come series.

I've been wanting a Skyrim-esque LOTR rpg for AGES!!
Kingdom Come is close to the former's gameplay, so I have some hope for this.

That's good news, I'm really looking forward to a Lord of the Rings game. I think the last Lord of the Rings game I played was from the PlayStation 2 era.
