KH2FM English Patch 4:3?

Does anyone know how to remove the mandatory widescreen patch from the PS2 KH2 Final Mix english patch? I don't like playing 4:3 games on widescreen and AFAIK, the 4:3 version that is on this site has the menus still stretched and the FMV get the sides cut out

Your best bet is to likely just find the ISO and patch it yourself without the widescreen patch, i think

If needed i could probably shoot you an already prepatched one

Although, doesn't the page already have an 4:3 version? Not really into kingdom hearts so i dunno

Tried to do that already, the patch file is .kh2patch (don't know how to modify it) and the translation includes it without the option to disable it

The page does have a 4:3 version, but is the widescreen one patched to have 4:3, rather than the base 4:3 with the translation, so it has some stretched stuff

That sounds pretty troubling. No idea why they decided to just make a widescreen only patch, but from what it sounds i guess your only option is to put up with the 4:3 version?? I'll see what i can do modifying the patch but don't expect anything :(
