Ken/Ryu matches have this intro in street fighter alpha
By the time of the third game, they do a fist bump

In the alpha games they are probably 18 or so and still immature which explains the noogie, but as time goes on it shows their rivalry developing with these little intros

Classic Street Fighter tends to have the best special intros. I wish this was something they brought back into later games. IV was the last time they technically even bothered, but that was for rival story line fights only. If I remember correctly, both Ken and Ryu are 19 in the Alpha games.

Almost tempted to put Kyo and Iori here and a bunch of SNK ones. They got good ones too. As well as Guilty Gear and Blazblue. And oh, the Arcsys Fist of the North Star.

Ken and Ryu are my favorite video game duo of all time. It's one of my favorite rival/friends dynamics of anything ever. They're just so memorable to me! SF is how I got into traditional fighters, and I was obsessed with them. To this day, they're the reason I primarily play shotos from game to game.

It's technically Capcom, but my favorite has to be Guile and Rugal's CvS2 intro referencing the former's cameo that SNK snuck into KoF 94.
