Are you thinking of Vroom? (as it was called on Amiga/ST/DOS), but was also on Mega Drive/Genesis Game Gear and Master System as F1 World Championship.Agree. I can remember this. Was like 12-13y when I first played it. This game is better optimized than some newer games. Back then I didn't have a brain yet so was hard af. Not as bad now consider I have 2 peas for a brain rather than 1/4 peaI can remember there was a similar type F1 game if I remember correct that I think used the same engine or type of engine but that was for pc. Don't know if it was for console as well. Upgraded my pc 2 weeks ago and I still prefer classics over graphics :D

Makes me wonder why people don't talk much about it.
I also noted that the framerate is stable and riding is fluid, and I remember having seen even 2D games struggling when not programmed very well.

Makes me wonder why people don't talk much about it.Was an impressive racing game for the time but with the patch that adds SRAM support, it makes the game save the game and you can load up where you left off and without having to start everything from scratch in championship mode.
